2020 Garnett Family Christmas Photoshoot

I absolutely love the holiday season! Christmas time is definitely "The most wonderful time of the year"! As a tradition, my family and I love to take professional photos during this time of year! This year we decided to keep it simple and take photos in our matching pj's. Which brings me to another tradition, wearing matching pj's is also a tradition that we love to do as a family. 

On Christmas Eve, we usually open up one gift, in fact, it's the first gift that we all open before Christmas and it's usually our matching pjs! Since we scheduled a photoshoot prior to Christmas Eve, the pj's this year were no surprise...lol! However, it didn't put a damper on our traditions, they were still the first gift that we opened on Christmas Eve!

To make sure our photos were a reflection of the holidays, we also decided to create a little "holiday set", right in the comfort of our own living room. I used one of our tree's along with 2 chairs! Michael, found the cutest red and black sign that said "Let's Get Cozy", along with matching coffee mugs that read "Be Merry" with a matching basket that read "Merry + Bright". He takes all of the credit this year for finding our pj's, slippers, socks, and the coinciding props for the photoshoot. 

Our red and black pj's were very popular this year! They definitely helped us cut down on trying to find outfits that would look good together. Coming together to wear our comfortable pj's this year was definitely the right call.
